Cheers mate, no one is ever forced to make an investment. If you make enough investments then you will make a really poor one sooner or later- for whatever reason- poor research- bad luck- FOMO- fraud or whatever. The important thing is risk management- you cannot avoid risk- you can only hope to manage it.

Stocks are a wonderful way to build wealth- just do not let the odd bad investment derail you- recognise the time to take a loss- move on- review why you made the error as appropriate- and continue making other profitable investments.

Never over invest in one stock or sector no matter how appealing the story.

Etc etc etc.

Oh, and do not lose your sense of humour and do remember to enjoy it.
