    Fiat money also goes up and down, with 3rd party marketplaces typically operating in USD as a base currency.

    Crypto is more volatile no doubt so you could see your investment go down, but you also wouldn't complain if it skyrocketed. If you are in it to make money, I probably would advise against buying in to the games.
