Interesting announcement but lots of execution risk.
E25's USA plant costs $289M USD for Stage 1 + another $187M USD for Stage 2. Once operating they expect $155 USD per annum. These are significant numbers.
How much will ours cost? Likely similar numbers.
The benefit is we are generating ore profitably making $50M NPAT per annum unlike E25 who have had to shut down their DSO operation. E25 were still able to attract General Motors and Stellantis for half the initial Capex.
Battery chemistry is constantly evolving but its becoming increasingly likely that Manganese will become the next important piece of the puzzle.
