i thought so, too... but when i checked in later it did the same.
Somebody recommended to me to use the Brave web search app thats available for Android, too. Its pretty good as it blocks ads and pop-ups.
In their rush to get more revenue, HC basically found ways to lose revenue by a bad update. Well, at least they have with me and others who are now using Brave or some alternative. Clever!
