This is an older older post, which at the time I shared with Dusko.


Talk of aircore drilling is quite confusing here, aircore is used mainly for drilling into clays like near surface oxidized gold ore, rare earth clays soft materials.We don't see aircore drilling for lithium every because pegmatites are rock hard and cannot be penetrated by aircore drilling, and if you find oxidized pegmaties the spodumene leaches from it incredibly quickly, so it will assay no lithium even if there is lithium in the fresh right below it.So aircore doesn't tell you if there is lithiuim in the material it can drill and it cannot drill into fresh pegmatites to test those for lithium either.What exactly is the point of this aircore drilling? it's going to take 1-2months to do, 1-2months to assay, then the results will tell us nothing and we will have to do RC/diamond drilling months later anyway.....I do wonder if management are coming from base metals background were aircore drilling is standard exploration practice and they are not understanding lithium exploration, no one drills aircore exploring for lithium, cause it doesn't work....
