They may not be exercised but it is a funding option other than a CR or issue of a debt instrument. If I was advising the company I would have board and senior management exercise soon as an illustration of confidence. They have shown an appetite for that already. That would buy some time to sign up more clients before doing a placement/rights issue at much higher price down the track.
No disclosure or insider issues with exercise of options either in case there are material contracts not far off.
Don't wait for a CR. We'll have lifted off already.
