Sorry shunned was the wrong word, but your post on the topic previously was quite dismissive, there's been plenty of ASX biotechs that have posted announcements stating receival of the funds in relation to deals they recently made. It's a way to show the market that all parties have committed fully to the deal, where many deals like this have certain cooling periods written in the clauses where either company can pull out within x number of days without payment. Announcing the cash received sets the deal in stone for the market, and provides a chance for the company to reiterate what this great deal represents. As I pointed out the first time I mentioned this, valid reasons imo.
Agreed, some people on these forums are the human equivalent of a wad of wet paper towel, happy to leave it there. Whether mgmt listened to us or if they already had the announcement planned, I'm glad they made the announcement. It will hopefully provide enough additional interest from the market to keep us around these levels until we get some new news.
