My opinion, lack of ease of exporting and red tape of environment approvals (uncertainty surrounding this) is why investment in oil and gas in Aus is low. Is why in Aus we have a gas shortages (at least coming) and has to be a brake on foreign investment. With risk around this it has to decrease exploration.
Govt policy is holding us all back.
