The only way I can see them developing geothermal to any meaningful extent is if th government starts throwing grant money at them. Just think about how much these wells are costing.

But don't mean to be negative. It's a very clever move and a relatively cheap form of PR with significant upside if I am wrong and they crack the code for commercially viable geothermal.

Blast from the past. Cut my teeth on Geodynamics, allot was thrown at that one, I think it’s only Scandinavian countries that got it working due to hot springs. Agree on the PR, all it’s worth imo.
