The old railway was the one that serviced the Goldsworthy Hematite mine that closed down in the 1980s. I believe it still belongs to BHP, and would require extensive refurbishment. However if there was a large strike, it would make sense to get it running again. Either way, this project is close to Port Headland which makes it very well positioned.
