So let me get this straight. Negative prices during the day are a serious problem for a coal fired power plant, because it can only wind down a little way slowly, but say for a solar plant its not a problem because they just 1. either switch off or 2. are so low cost they make money when its negative.
Seriously anyone who keeps repeating the total and utter crap that coal is being stuffed out with negative prices needs to have a new brain put on their head.
