I am struggling to find a reason NOT to buy more SBM:
Cash: quite large, in fact about 30% greater than market cap!
Debt: easily serviceable
EV: ridiculously low (in fact a large negative figure based on SBM figures)
Mine life: more than 20 years at current production
AISC: not wonderful at about $2,450/oz but acceptable (will labour and energy costs impact much?)
Price / free cash flow: just about the lowest of all gold miners
So why isn’t the share price higher? I am so tempted but does the market know something that I don't know?
