This year's almonds are still being harvested, and replenishing SHV's coffers remains ahead after a shocking 2023 harvest. Yet management would certainly like to add 817ha of almonds to the portfolio. I doubt interest in the avocados.
A bad year resonates for some time. Expect more capitulations by established players. Best opportunity in a decade to buy established plantations.
