    Of course there's going to be ionic clays. The climactic conditions that produce the favourable moderate Al-weathering laterites are incredibly extensive.

    What is different to Ema is that the basement rock lithologies are more variable which means we will get more variable grades and recoveries in the overlying clays derived from the weathering of the basement rocks which will work in our favour because we will get high-grade, high recovery zones mixed with low/high-grade, low recovery zones which means a steeper grade tonnage chart so instead of the shallow sloping GT curve we get for Ema, we get a steeper curve, i.e. a bigger high grade component (more of the profitable high grade stuff).
