    Yup.

    But before I answer that, there's a little info here - https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/61090724/single
You should also read the latest investor presentation here - https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-investor-presentation.6768187/

Now to give a few bullet points directly for your question
    • The intercept is at 800m hole depth, but true depth is about 650m ish (I forget the exact)
    • SHP owns an asset that used to be a mine, with shafts allowing some degree of access already, at least when it comes to waste disposal. BHP have a few drill holes
    • As @cmwilson said, BHPs is far deeper than ours. They're investing about $5bn until 2030. Capex estimates from Project O for SHP range between about $500-800m AUD.
    • BHP's Jansen is in the middle of nowhere, and is frozen solid (including the workforce) for 5 months of the year. Once they get it out of their, by the currently non-existent rail infrastructure, it's $100AUD/tn to transport that to Europe. For SHP, which was mined up until the 1980s, it's already in Europe...

Plenty more things that make me like what SHP has. They also specifically talk to BHP's project in some of their videos and don't see the additional potash on the market being a challenge, particularly because of the ESG issue of shipping their product across the Atlantic into Europe.
