ASX were of no help. All they did was send me a copy of the Rule. Basically it is as follows:
- If there is an extreme Trade range trades attempted are generally automatically cancelled
- If they are in a qualifying cancellation range, trades within this range are able to be cancelled provided they are notified to the ASX by one of the parties within a prescribed period and the other party agrees to the cancellation.
No mention was made of the possibility (likelihood) of a significant event making the company valuable to the extent that holders would not ever sell low enough for the stock to ever trade again.
