    Consistent grade and thickness, but not economical to mine at that depth via open cut method (the waste strip ratio kills it) and grade far too low for underground extraction.

    Putting ounces on the books, but in the ground they'll stay until POG gets much much higher. Strip ratio looks around 13-15 : 1 plus the removal of the waste dumps either side of the current OP (Google earth live).
