A lot of other lithium companies are up 4% today so maybe todays announcement was only worth another 4. Heres my theory. When a company makes a good announcement straight away retail investors jump on as they sit at their computer and can react very fast but are small time and dont move the market much. What really moves the market is the people with money and they move slower I think because any decision needs to go up the chain and then back down again. My observation is that a significant price rise following a good (not great) announcement takes about 2 weeks.
Warren Buffet does some great interviews where he says if he didnt have so much money he could knock out 30% per year but he cant do that any more because hes investing billions and any move he makes shifts the market and diminishes his percentage profit.
