I would also like to add that you appeared to be negative about drilling deeper than 4000m because you think there is a much greater chance of diagenesis (porosity loss) at that depth. Isn't it the case that the risk of diagenesis is increases significantly when an aquifer is close by? At M-2 they are far from the flanks of the field and therefore far from the aquifer.
