2) Rig capacity and amount of drill pipe on hand

4) Usually when you get to depths of around 4000 porosity and permeabilty start to deteriorate due to effects of compaction and other processes. Not always the case though as Strike Energy proved with their Erregulla drilling in N Perth Basin.

Thank you Kiwigeo, still there seem to be Permian Mkanga thick source rock just below Lorew Angwa,
I am thinking what's the point of going deeper, if they have no intention to test the lot or some of it...
We are on a horst and the drill has been upgraded and maintained, potential we could go 400m deeper.
Sorry to say Kiwi you sound a bit pessimistic, where is gone the spirit of adventure in you?
