No problem.
If it was a light oil the LWD would look exactly the same. The mudgas may present differently but it’s not reliable to make a call this early in the well evaluation.
150x times background with elevated heavier component could have multiple explanations besides light oil. it could be dry gas with some residual oil from an earlier charge or could be a gas condensate (gas with dissolved oil at reservoir conditions that condenses at surface conditions) it some other explanation
I think it’s simply a case of SM and co don’t know for certain and would rather not speculate when they will (with luck) be able to give definitive information in a short timeframe.
My opinion only, but if I had to guess, there are multiple fluid systems with some light oil and some high CGR gas in there, and expect it to get drier with depth much like M-1.
