yes at one stage I thought about buying a NZ Gold permit ... was one on an upper part of a river you could use a dredge etc .. (but ended out missing out and keeping the funds in the ASX)
... through my contacts I got to talk to some local Gold mining legends with their experience on likely bedrock base of the river I was looking at .. in talking about Gold in the region I was lead to no doubt of far more around than was ever produced back in the Gold Boom days of the 19th century... as much was much deeper than they would ever go 70-100m cover over bedrock etc
just so much area untouched by modern exploration work .. and now looking like we are going get rid of are lefty Govt next year ... should be much better environment for miners
