I think it's interesting to note that Telfer produces about 100koz Au per quarter. so 400koz p.a. So, as an overly simplistic view, processing Minyari ore would feed it for about 2 years. Only held back by how fast they can make a big hole in the ground and get it over to Telfer.
Thats better than 7 years mine life IMO. Mine it quicker and get payback quicker!
What are Newcrests numbers on just the Telfer plant in terms of costs to process?
So we can add up cost to dig it up, transport to Telfer, process and ship. The ASIC will be much lower than if AZY did it themselves.
What would it be worth to Newcrest in post-tax NPV?
