It looks like some folk who took up the SPP decided that they would grab their profit while they still have one.

Friday is a bad day for shares to come onto the market.
There is even less incentive to leave a lazy profit lying around, especially with Trumpet and
Rocket-man shouting at one another. We might all be toast come Monday.

Vis-à-vis our chortling about our respective profits in RCR, I should have added that my gain of 15.8% PA on the $0.20 RCR shares was over a period of 21.4 years. At the current share price of $4.10 it has come back to 15.2% PA excluding dividends.
Like I said, hanging on to it is the hard part.

If RCR are going to acquire something, I wouldn't ordinarily expect that to do much for the share price in the short term. When acquisitions are announced, Mr Market is inclined to worry that realizing the hoped for synergies has a tendency to turn out to be harder than anyone anticipates.
