Not sure the source of those estimates, but the rationale is quite simple. I didn't know the SG of saprock so I googled it. I found this report which seemed credible and suggested an SG of 1.5.
I mentioned that this estimate was conservative as only part of the deposit is in Saprolite. We are getting good hits in the fresh rock, and the deposit is open at depth. The fresh rock will have a higher SG, however I was intentionally conservative and applied the lower SG to the entire deposit.
