Hi Compint,
The CVM testing is performed while the aircraft is on the ground.
I assumed Boeing are concerned that under low load, a potential crack may “close” & that is what they are looking for?
I seem to recall this having being raised somewhere before, and that this type of crack under low load can possibly be an issue when the aircraft is subsequently pressurised.
Does this ring a bell with anyone else?
