Yep, fair point. But there are ways of building relationships and engaging, and anyone in the oil and gas industry is well aware of the importance of trying to get along in joint ventures etc. Obviously they failed miserably at that...although of course it takes two to make it work and we can't be sure who was really at fault. Egos can make things very complicated too, and are a whole issue in themselves.
