I for one am relieved to get a 50% return, Gurvantes offloaded to TMK (I hope), and shares in a mid-tier company that is self funding and has great near-term growth prospects (and may get taken over itself).
There will always be those who want more, but given the difficulty of exploring and developing gas assets in Australia (and it's only going to get more difficult) and the limited upside of Walyering (a known quantity), I am willing to settle for the deal.
In the end, shareholders will decide, so a range of opinions is good.
