Yep, no idea what’s going on there, looks like they took up some of their entitlement but not all, make no sense at all. Maybe thinking no one would notice a drop in % holdings, but for such a big company and under a takeover…..why increase their shares or have any involvement? Mind you re the JV’s none of it makes any sense to me, you are either in or you are not, RIO just playing the waiting game, IGO no idea why they are here, as for Newcrest….just purely a play of just in case seeing as they are so close with their Telfer set up.
