Although I don't think people buying on the expectation of good faith from management, then selling at a loss in exasperation as management is allowed to ignore their duties and responsibilities is a great model for investing on the ASX. Someone should be being held to account over this.
Indeed, whenever anyone raises questions about standards of behaviour with regards to keeping shareholders properly informed, they are usually urged by other posters to sell out.....at a loss. Surely we can all do better in this regard.
I think the best course of action would be that companies are not allowed by the ASX to sit on relevant information indefinitely, information that should be in the hands of shareholders and the market. It should not be current shareholders that become the losers in these scenario's.
