@LowRoller88 Call me a cynic but I've always thought the 100 thou ounces this year meant achieving that prod level run rate within this year, not as a total figure. I expect that run rate to happen prior to last quarter, and I'll be happy with that moving forward and then ramping up to 150 thou soon enough.
Yes news flow could be better indeed. But then I don't particularly want to see anns like 'Didn't find much gold in the eastern sector after that initial bonanza intercept' or 'The MoFo PM Hasn't Signed the JV Doc Yet' either.
Sanctions being lifted on financial transactions with Mali looks to be on the cards very soon after a court decision last night. I wonder if that has held up the JV somehow...or if it's just waiting on the PM to sign, and the fin docs all go through Holland...IDK but when there is good news on that soon things will move quickly.
