So even with nickel prices super low, we're sitting on 3 BILLION dollars worth of pure sulphide, battery grade nickel?
My place is off-grid, and people are going to be surprised how easy it is to live from batteries (even with the aircon running all day). When everyone wakes up and uses the panels on their roof with batteries instead of trying to get meagre cents in the dollar back feeding into the grid - batteries will go nuts (and so will Ni and Li prices).
