this has been played very well. during the halt i think they just kept placing buy bid after buy bid to make the indicative price high and get holders excited. Then in the 10 mins pre open after announcement they stacked the bejeezus out of the sell side and cause the indicative price to lower and lower so that they panicked out the panickee types. Theyve been accumulating hard at 14 all morning. Now theyve pulled some of their fake bids.
This company gets played a lot by whomever is doing it (someone with deep pockets) which says to me they know its worth multiples of this price so its pretty risk free playing games here. They wont be suddenly left holding the baby.
