The AFR would have been tipped off by one of the Professional/Sophisticated investors who would have been given that information with the placement offer. We had a tip-off here too. it's a bit naughty of them to release unauthorised confidential information, but hey, it happens and when it happens on HotCopper it's one of the very, very few times we poor retail numpties get anything like an even break.
Incidentally, in case anybody is wondering... I absolutely did not trade on that knowledge before its public release.
