Anyone knows why INF and and EMH are not thinking about building a downstream refinery together? As far as I know both companies have similar, primarily mica based bulk, low grade, but continuous Li assets in the EU. However, both INF and EMH face with a very challenging funding task due to having to build an integrated hydroxide plant that could cost more than 1b euros. The Eu and some European OEMs would certainly chip in to a Li megaproject that would help them getting off from the China dominant battery supply chain.

I understand that Mica concentrates aren't widely used due to the complexities of the ore, but there are market participants, who cracked the code to produce 4% mica concentrates. These concentrates could be produced in Spain and Czechia and transported via the extensive Eu rail network to a jointly owned central processing hub.

    Context on Mica concentrates:
Imerys British Lithium’s engineers have successfully beneficiated Cornish micas using our unique process to produce a +4% Li Lithium concentrate with recovery over 90%.

Note that I am an INF shareholder and I don't hold EMH.
