Quite likely they will focus on oil and condensates and leave gas until a later phase. As long as the possibility is allowed for in the design it won’t really be a downside. A pipeline to shore will cost around $1m per kilometre so getting the gas to the Burrup (say) will be upwards of $200m, unless a tie in to existing infrastructure is on offer (a distinct possibility) . They will probably keep that powder dry until they’re making money.
