Lol maybe you want to check the buyers depth before you lock in that profit. If they dumped it would be an overwhelming loss as theres no depth at all so not really up at all and clearly not the motive.
As others have said its a big vote of confidence in the future prospects. It is a bit of a downer retail didn't get a taste but there's plenty of tax selling to come and the depth still looks really weak. The chance may come. I think the other real positive is the chair didn't do it as a convertible note or loan.
Looking at the positive, they still now have retail / others up the sleeve for next year when they can issue another 10% and as others have said perhaps at a higher price once the junior bio macro has turned a bit more positive AND they have some of the results coming through - Id much prefer to get an offer from a position of greater strength and it looks like that may happen (the greater strength bit, not necessarily the offer).
