It would be interesting to see objective data to support the claim that the SP falls to CR price if there are no options issued in the CR. Free options are a complete disaster and put a cap on the SP for years to come. If someone wants to play the options game, let them buy them on the open market. I have bought options in the US (usually a 1:100 leverage as opposed to ASX 1:1 options) and they are a completely different ball game.
