I hold a lot of gold miners but the balance sheet on this one got me worried early in the year. To the point were I free carried BGL early May. My sell in May and go away strategy on non-core holdings may also have something to do with it...Post #:74081718 Gold miners are over represented in the portfolio.

I will be buying the holding back slowly in the coming months. That $150m raised may not seem like much but this has significantly de-risked BGL. Many won't agree but I believe this CR was needed; considering this had a few red herrings on a few balance sheet metrics.

- short term assets (A$71.3M) do not cover its short term liabilities (A$85.2M)
- short term assets (A$71.3M) do not cover its long term liabilities (A$246.2M).
- net debt to equity ratio (40.4%) is considered high.
- debt to equity ratio has increased from 0% to 50.5% over the past 5 years.


Come June 2025 BGL's Revenue, Earnings and Free Cashflow is going to speak for itself.

This is an opportunity and fits nicely into what I've been saying in my cornerstone gold miners EVN and NST for years!
