At some point during 2025 they'll have to consolidate by about 1 for 25 and bring the share count down to about 400 million.
So at 1.6c or 1.7c currently that would have it consolidated to between 40 and 43 cents - initially.
Or if they consolidated at 1 for 20 that would bring it down to about 500 million shares, or just less.
So at 1.6c or 1.7c currently that would have it consolidated to between 32 and 34 cents - initially.
It makes sense, and is inevitable I'd expect.
The market cap of $100 million currently may be seen by some as a tad rich at this level, so if consolidated at 33 cents you might see a move back to 27 cents or thereabouts, but that is only if they are not in production by that time, which is likely though, given the CEO's recent interview.
Long term they look to be building a decent gold company, with the right kind of expert technical and management teams, so a bit of patience over 2 or 3 years may be rewarded here.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out over the next 3 years or so.
I'll sit on these and find out.
