You make some interesting points there and I agree with some of your analysis, the question that I am still coming back to is what does the Mt Lyell operation bring to the table? From the look of the pleading in the email to all shareholders they are spinning away furiously.
Don't get me wrong - I am a fan of copper and can see the potential in expanding from Zinc into Copper and the advantages of having two mine sites to spread the risk, but in this case its more a case of doubling the risk rather than halving it as Mt Lyell has even more "issues" than Century.
