I've rarely seen a SSP (not) drop down below the issue price. It is almost guaranteed. For this reason alone, I decline to apply for them. Just have to wait a week or so and buy them for less, if you are keen. I've held BGL for a long time and will continue to hold because it will be a goer sooner or later. However it has been a grind.
