In these dark times of a global pandemic attention has necessarily been diverted from the climate emergency. In my opinion one positive outcome from the pandemic will be a more complete acceptance of the importance of science in shaping our future. Trump didn't listen to the advice of medical doctor's and scientists and the USA's melt down is there for all to see.

Whilst I am concerned the pandemic together with economic and geo political challenges will slow the EV and renewable energy revolution, it is also possible that scientific knowledge will be the main consideration for governments in future.
