And yes.. who would lose out? ... And everyone else would want in....
In a way you have summed up the Catch 22 Nightmarez mentioned ... damned if you do / damned if you don’t .

The thing is ( stepping away from the specifics of RCR), it is the government trying to get most bang for its buck that is creating the environment where so many local companies are going under.
It is widely touting it is spending billions on public infrastructure .
Not so vocal about potentially wanting ‘three for one’ worth of value for every dollar spent.
And big companies who are being asked to tender ...apparently even being favoured ..are saying ‘yes we can do this ‘.

They can’t . If it was possible the mess out there would not exist.


I do take your point .
No one wants the government to send us bankrupt, and low interest loans to Australian companies in need would do that .
Selling out to foreign multinationals who say they can cut costs by 20% or whatever via “innovation” ( the very word anightmarez used was employed in the lawyer’s comments posted above!)..... now that’s a different matter.

I am just a bit grumpy
