Well at least it is something. The DSMB would however only be looking at safty. So sector suggests half way, perhaps, he tends to know far more than any investor should, one could say he has insider knowledge. The problem is he could simply be telling us a few fibs , he has done it plenty of times and has taken many for a ride.
This is a early stage trial planed to enroll just 30 , 15 to be treated. The DSMB primary concern is safty, I think it very unlikely that the DSMB wouldn't have been given instructions to carry out a review well before the half way point . It is not improbable that just 2 patients may have been enrolled. There is a very good reason why this announcement does not include actual enrollment data.
