Lol why would you short TPM on that news. More like you short telstra, that means that they are lowering their profit margins in a corporation with little to now growth, which literarly translates to lower revenue and profits.

TPG will have pricing much lower than 30% of what telstra offers with a bigger gross profit margin if telstra actually goes ahead and cuts prices. If anything neutral to good news to TPG, because that 30% reduction is sure to mean that Telstra is afraid of the threat and is already initating price wars, which is something they will lose unless they change their whole market strategy from the best coverage at higher prices to a low cost business.
