I keep seperate spreadsheets of my trades etc for tax.
However if you do want to adjust the average cost in commsec to what you calculate it is now, you can adjust the cost price in the desktop version of commsec.
Go portfolio, holdings and then EDIT (top right above your holdings).
Adjust and save.
Its is better to see a close P/L per day rather doing calcs in your head or updating daily a spread sheet.
