This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think this actually shows how foolish most retail shareholders are.

During pretty much the entire offer period you could sell your current shares on market at a higher price than the purchase plan price, so you could sell what you had and buy back the same number of shares with a lower cost base and pocket the difference.

It astounds me that there isn't a take up rate of close to 100% given the free money which was on offer.

With that said, a good result for the company for sure. Hopefully it is nothing but onwards and upwards from here for RSG.
