I too would prefer to see a down-dip step out to NED-1...but lets wait to see what NED-1 turns up. Im sure the team could "revise" their plan if the compelling case you have proposed does indeed hold true. The only thing I have to add is the oil in the Wagina/Dongara.

Lead D connection to the main structure was always in play. I went back to my first post on upside where I highlighted the companys "fill to spill" wording. Back then, fill to spill meant the structure was greater than 100km2. Since then we had some revised seismic and drill data/discovery hole. The whole structure grew to the 150km2 figure you have quoted, and the company had postulated that around 100km2 is gas filled - the rest is water. The depth of this postulated GWC is based on nearby gas fields.

But as ive said before, there is a big bounding fault separating LD from fields further west. So it may be the water gradient in LD is different...and the whole structure is gas filled. Formation thickness aside, using the rule of thumb 100bcf/3km2...ill let you do the maths for a 150km2 trap. And this has been the case all along here. It is all just too big to be true. So everyone is keeping expectations down until the incredible is proven true.

Ive got no doubt we will be blown away by what they eventually turn up. NWE/MIN will re-write the book on this - in a big way.
