The state of emerging market economies has been pretty well known for a while now, the idea that FDVs biggest asset suddenly and forever has no value does seem hyperbolic.
Time horizon for this one probably going to be rough now, I can see how this is a tough pill for some people who've been in for a long time and likely in the red a fair amount to be looking at even more waiting. Luckily for me it was a little nibble for cheap.
Looking at their recent cashflow numbers, which are reasonably positive. Then with economic uncertainty everywhere - it makes any valuation very difficult. I thought buying in the 50s based on my rough accountant brain spreadsheet seemed like reasonable value, market says otherwise - but this isnt the time to lose my pants over a speculative stock so gotta keep sensible.
